The Hluhluwe Gate Bush Camp has accommodation in four chalets, each sleeping 2 people. All the rooms have ensuite bathrooms with a shower, a bar fridge and a private balcony overlooking the Hluhluwe and Umfolozi Big 5 Game Reserve. The lodge is 1 min from the Hliuhluwe gate for easy access.
In the new year, if all goes well, more units will be built to provide various other accommodation options. So watch this space!!
The Hluhluwe Gate Bush Camp has a large communal entertainment area. A central kitchen is on hand for those guests self catering, with fridges, gas stove and utensils provided.
There is a cosy lounge and bar area, as well as a dining room near the accommodation. Braai facities are present, and a fantastic fire pit provides the perfect spot to gather round the camp fire and watch the sun set over the Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve, while the lions roar and the hyena cackle in the distance.
Being a mere 150m from the Hluhluwe and Umfolozi Game Reserve fence line, means you can be on a game drive within minutes! Self drive yourself in the reserve or book an open vehicle safari experience with us. Fully inclusive tours and safaris from Durban are available for the Big 5 experience of a lifetime!
