Hello all and welcome to the first Blog entry from the Hluhluwe Gate Bush Camp.

Being our first post, I thought I would just give you the run down of what you can expect if you wish to stay at the Hluhluwe Gate Bush Camp.

We have just relaunched the lodge and are taking new bookings as of now. For the start of the venture we are only working on a self-catering basis, but will be moving into catered packages within the next month. We will also be offering fully inclusive safari packages whereby guests can be transfered from Durban or King Shaka Airport to the Hluhluwe Gate Bush Camp. All accommodation, meals and game drives in the Big 5 Hluhluwe uMfolozi Game Reserve will be included in this safari.

The lodge comprises of 4 accommodation units, all overlooking the Hluhluwe Game Reserve, a mere 150m from the fence line infact. This makes it a one of a kind experience being the only external lodge to border on the Hluhluwe section of the reserve. When going on game drives it literally takes 1 minute to be at the entrance gates!

There is an entertainment area, with lounge, bar and braai facilities, as well as a central kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with all utensils and crockery, as well as fridges.
